Many people attribute flirting lines or pick up lines as cheesy remarks that get most men shot down quickly and fail to perform it's purpose. Not so! The trick is you must find the best flirting lines that actually work. For example, many men use the same boring pick up lines for every woman they meet. Big mistake. Each woman is her own individual. Each woman is different and unique in her own personal way. Would you really go up to someone that looks like an uptight school marm and say, "Hey baby, how's about some lovin'?" Seriously? Treading on egg shells if your opening line is a compliment. Did you know that 44% of women still want a romantic relationship while the rest are more independent? See where I'm going with this? Women today aren't the same that they were 50 years ago. Guys, unlike most of us, they've evolved into something a lot more diverse, complicated and harder to understand.

"What's your sign?" just isn't going to cut it anymore. You've got to tailor your approach to fit a woman's deepest dating desires. Want another success factor? Be yourself. Women aren't dumb. They can tell when a guy is being sincere and when they're just being a total idiot and fumbling their words all over the place not knowing what to say to sound cool. Trust me, I've seen it time and time again. Guys, women can detect confidence and self-esteem. Make sure you rank pretty high on both counts, but not too high. They don't like over confidence at all, either. Remember the old adage, "Who'd going to have confidence in you if you don't have confidence in yourself?" Am I, right?

So, next time you approach a girl make sure to remember those two basic key elements. Discover the things she wants to hear. Often you can get a sense of that by her body language, what she's wearing and her tone of voice. Secondly, be yourself and be confident. Most girls don't like losers and if you think you're a loser then she most definitely will. I would say most women like men that are sure of themselves and portray that in their gestures, speech and most especially with their eye contact.

Remember, after your opening line gets you in there to an initial conversation, you still need to capture her attention long enough to ask her out.
