The funny thing about this is that once you develop this attitude, the rate of rejection you experience will drop dramatically. Women will be able to sense that you're secure and nothing they do one way or the other is going to change that. That automatically makes you more desirable.

The next tip is related to the first. Lose the neediness.  You don't want to approach a potential girlfriend seeming desperate to meet someone. That's a complete turn-off.

Women want men who are comfortable with themselves and confident. You probably have a general idea of your ideal girlfriend. Whatever other characteristics she has (intelligence, kindness, wit, etc) I bet being attractive is part of the package. I have yet to meet a man who said he was actively looking for homely women to date.

The attractive women that you might be interested in are used to being approached by men because of their physical beauty. They are also used to having a sense of control, of being pursued with the ability to deign who they'll pay any attention to.

A woman like that is used to having guys act as if they desperately need her. Wrong attitude. The attitude you want is that she needs a man of your caliber more than you could ever need her.

The final tip I want to give you follows up on the first two: don't be a completely nice guy.

Now, I've seen some people take this too far. I'm not talking about being a complete jerk. I'm talking about not going over board fawning over a woman, catering to her every whim or making excessively romantic gestures too early in the relationship.

Without going into the psychology too much, women are subconsciously attracted to men they perceive as being a leader in some way. A guy who seems desperate for a date doesn't look like much of a leader.

Also, at some level, women see a guy who is a bit of a bad boy as beyond their control and all the more desirable.

If you look around, you'll see proof of this. It's very common for good looking woman to date very ordinary looking guys who aren't especially nice to them.

Again, don't be a jerk, but don't be perpetually accommodating.
