What do you think of when you think of Jealousy?
When you think of jealousy you think of aggression or violence or even fatal attraction. You think of someone that's possessive and tries to tell you what to do. No one wants a jealous mate and no one likes being jealous.
No one wants the fussing and fighting and accusations that go along with jealousy. No one wants to be ordered around and told what they can and can not do. Trying to control someone else or threatening someone you love is never an OK thing. Treat your mate like you want them to treat you.
What about an extremely jealous person?
Jealous people act untrusting or unworthy. Extreme jealousy people can make a person unattractive, even repulsive. Nothing can screw up a relationship or marriage faster than jealously. Being a bossy, argumentative impatient person makes a person look ugly to you even if they are physically attractive.
Jealousy will create anxiety, anger, loneliness, fear and pain. No one can think with a clear mind when they are jealous. The jealous person acts in an untrusting and suspicious manor.
I get no communication in my relationship.
If you are jealous you need to communicate. Communication is the foundation of a relationship; you might even call it the life blood of the relationship. I believe the lifeblood of a relationship is love, affection, communication, companionship and trust.
What is this healthy jealousy you speak about?
Healthy jealousy can be very good for a relationship. With out a reasonable amount of jealousy we don't get to see how much our mate loves us.
Healthy jealousy is just enough jealousy shown to us by our mate that shows us how much we are loved and desired. Why? Because a person that doesn't show any healthy jealousy would appear to not care what we do or who we do it with.
I think it is a good feeling to see my mate get upset and show some jealous feelings about something I'm doing or not doing and someplace I'm going or not going.
This speaks volumes to me by showing me that she cares about me and what I'm doing. It gives me a lot of respect for her and increases my attraction to her.
Jealousy in just the right doses
It makes you feel attractive and desirable when your partner shows a little jealousy toward you.
It makes you feel special and valuable. It shows that you matter to them. Too much jealousy will lead to fights and arguing, but healthy jealousy in just right amounts says just the opposite.
Now keep in mind that healthy jealousy works for two people in love. If your mate is arrogant, argumentative or bossy then the notion of healthy jealousy will just fire them up. This will cause them to rant and rave and say it's wrong. Why, because they want to be in charge and run things their way. This exposes them and their attitude.
You can see the attraction and know that they desire you
This is important for the man or the woman in a relationship. People need to see the attraction and they need to feel like they are sexy. They need to see and feel important to the one they love. They need to see the attraction in action with their own eyes and feel the attraction in their heart.
Yes even the movie stars that can get anyone they want need to feel loved by the person they are with. They need to see the love in action just like real everyday people.
So whether you are 8 or 80 humans need to feel and see the love and attraction in action daily. Just as you need to eat food daily, you also need to see and feel the love daily. And healthy jealousy is just one way that this is shown.
