One way to make it easier for the both of you is that have your friends or family; or whoever set you two up to invite them to a dinner party or a group event, this makes things less awkward. In that way, there are more people that you two mutually know, who can help bridge the gap and break the ice that usually comes during a first meeting. Allow yourselves to get to know each other in a group setting, and then after that, let nature take it's course. If you like him, give him a chance and if he asks you out on another date then give him a shot at it and say yes.

Remember though to always go out in public places during earlier dates. Like say, going for lunch in town, or coffee during work break. Keep the conversation light and wholesome. Don't rush things. Instead, you should get to know each other slowly but surely, one step at a time. A blind date could be the starting point for a great relationship. It doesn't need to be a romantic candlelight dinner and a bouquet of roses immediately. Start slow and eventually what relationship you start to build will grow and flourish.
