The best thing to do is find a topic which you have in common so that you can share a common conversation ground: like music or sport or maybe films. Destination

This leads on nicely to where you are going on your date. A classic destination for a first date organised through a dating agency is to the cinema, but this is in fact a very bad idea indeed. This is because you are trying to get to know each other and an hour or two in a dark room not talking is not going to help this. What you should do is find something relaxed and quite to do which gives you both a chance to chat and have eye contact. Think: casual dating in a coffee shop or quite bar.
