When the human spirit goes out of life, I question whether all the Red Bull in the world is going to be sustainable as an energy source.

Maybe fast food and alcohol and sex and greed can keep us in the system, but what about our spirit?

We love from our spirit. We heal from our spirit and happiness (inspiration) comes from our spirit so, when energy is gone it really means we're self abusing our own spirit. I wonder if there is a substitute for that spirit in a can, bottle or another person's attention.

Many people do yoga and tai chi, and other practices to renew their energy but most of these teachings are corrupted and more often than not, suck energy, rather than inspire it.

Nature is the human spirit. No rules, no should or got to... in nature you are you. No guru.. no books or web sites or iPhone apps. Just you... and there is no electricity - no energy sucking memories implanted in walls and chairs and doors... just you, air, life-force and energy.

The human spirit has only one mental point of rejuvenation, and that is "the future."

This future - call it a dream or vision, is critical for human energy.

It's enemy is doubt.. doubt is at the root of uncertainty, confusion, overwhelm. When doubt is gone the future is clear and energy comes back to us.

The Ego is interested in the future too... it wants more pleasure in the future.

Those around us, our children and partner are interested in our future... it arouses interest and sparks respect, inspiration and attraction.

The future is planted in our heart. It isn't something we invent. Things come to us and they simply trigger our heart to be inspired but this cannot happen indoors. Inside the walls of a building there is noise, electrical noise.

The future does not come to trigger our heart if we are hunting for it. If we are indoors or outdoors it doesn't matter because if we are hunting for the future, the ego has taken control and we a grasping. To catch a dream is like catching a feather, the more we grope for it, the further away we push it.

The future comes when we are in nature absorbed in it. This is why sport is great but there needs to be mind control. If we are in nature talking about the footy, then we are not observant, we are split, not turning up... then there is no connection.

When you walk on the beach or in the forest with your lover, take pictures of nature, collect stones, feel things, touch nature, smell things. Be aware of how easy it is to be in nature but still be back indoors in your mind... conversations in nature that are not about nature distract you from your heart. (usually this is deliberate to avoid truth).

You do not need to climb Mount Everest to stay youthful in your energy. No... that can age you. What is needed is a love, an appreciation for beauty in nature. That love is not exclusive. If you can love a rock, you can love anything. Start with this, it really can make your energy extremely strong and healthy.

You will solve many of life's problems in nature. But with too much talk, wine, chatter and groping, the gift can easily be missed... to be in nature, outdoors, love nature, appreciate it and then go play.

3. Prevent the loss of energy - Certainty of the future

4. Direct that energy (energy must circulate to grow) - Love
