Sometimes I hear my singles give their sob story about how they want to be with somebody to hold them and someone to have pillow talk at night. I tell my singles to rejoice that you are single! Being single has its advantages, believe me I know I am married now and can see from both ends of the spectrum. Read along:

When you are single

You can leave your home without waiting on anyone. All you have to do is get ready grab your car keys and leave. When you leave, everybody leaves. Now that I am married, I have to wait on my wife and daughter. I am punctual and can't stand being late, my wife on the other half...

When you are single

You can leave something in the refrigerator and guess what? The next day it is still there! When you eat, everybody eat. Now being married, I can come home from work thinking about the mint chocolate ice cream I want left in the freezer...only to find out when my wife and daughter greets me at the door they have mint chocolate ice cream mustaches.

When you are single (for the ladies)

You don't have to worry about your husband wanting sex all the time. I know it seems crazy now because you want to have sex. When you're married your husband has the right to have sex with you on the regular basis. Some nights you have headaches and cramps so you don't want to be his porn star for the night. When you're single you can have the bed all to yourself and not worry about your husband trying to poke you at night when you are tired.

Let Webster's dictionary define the word "Single" 1. Not married 2. Of or relating to celibacy. If you are living with your boyfriend/girlfriend you are still single.

There are exceptions if you are single and have a child(ren).
