The stories of these people are told through the first person and although they incorporate the highs and lows of love that any other romantic flick does. It is a real breath of fresh air to the movie world driven stale by romantic comedies.

Such films as He's Just Not That Into You and Valentine's Day have signalled this new rise in genre. The genre reflects the lives of everyday people. It incorporates the internet, texting and even Facebook as it tells the stories of young people and the hectic lives they now lead today. The stories are individual and make up a part of huge wider message that although life is complicated we can still find our fairytale ending that we long seek.

It is a new concept, yes. But the feel of the movie business remains the same. The long awaited love that we have sought for still reveals themselves at the end and all our dreams come true in the film. But how we get there is quite different, and the ones you end up with are not always the ones you started off with.

The continued struggle of life that we all suffer with is shared by all in the films and us alike is reminiscent of life. And the way in which they resolve everything in the movies is something we all long for in reality. Movies are there in some part to reassure us and in these sorts of films the messages are quite strongly frank as ever. Life is hard we know that but in the end it all has to work out right.

Well this is probably a question many of us ask ourselves every single day. But in the films it is always okay. If it wasn't, would we not begin to question life altogether? And whether it is going to be good at all. Life is what we make it and we need to take that into account. But a little help along the way can never hurt and these films are what that is all about. A little reassurance from these movies is supposed to make everything a tad easier.
