4. Do develop your own product. Selling someone else's product or service can make you a lot of money, but is it sustainable in the long run? Many affiliate and network marketing programs become old or disappear. This is especially true on online Internet Marketing where information that was cutting edge five years ago is now terribly out of date and could even cause problems if you promote it. Far better to create your own product that you are responsible for keeping current. Your own product gives you control over its evolution, meaning you can be sure your customers continue to benefit in the long term.
5. Do use free services to develop links to your website. Internet Marketing is all about getting traffic to your website so that you can convert visitors into customers, but the cost of developing multiple lead generating websites can be prohibitive, so why not use article submission sites, social networking sites, public forums and blogs to build the number of links to your website. In time these will be directly responsible for increasing your traffic. Visitors who become customers also become referrers, so with traffic your online business grows, and will surely be successful.
