How to Profit Online When the Odds Are Against You

With the success rate at only 5 percent, you might think you need an enormous amount of luck to succeed as an Internet marketer. But even with the odds stacked against you, profiting online is a realistic goal. When you know what works, you won\'t need luck at all.

It's been said many times that 95 percent of online marketers never make a dime.

Based on this statistic, it would seem that profiting from an online business would require an enormous amount of luck given the fact your chances of success are only 5 percent...and yet nothing could be further from the truth.

The fact is, online marketing is more predictable than business in the offline world. You can literally generate "cash on demand" as long as you have the right marketing system. But how do you know what the right system is?

First, we need to know what constitutes the "right system." Here's my personal definition:

It's one that consistently and reliably generates residual income each and every time you apply it whether it be today or a year from today...it should always work.

My own personal system (which fits the above definition) is based on a standard marketing approach which I've made significantly more profitable by adding two specific components. These components not only increase the amount of traffic to your sales pages, they create an additional income stream as well.

It's kind of like taking a Chevy and turning it into a Porsche...or possibly a Lamborghini...well, you get the idea.

The basic system (without the improvements) is to submit articles and include a link in the bio box to a free report that contains additional links to informational products. Publishers and other marketers must be able to rebrand the report with their own affiliate links in order to increase the extent to which your report is distributed, otherwise known as viral marketing.

(By the way, you could outsource to freelancers if you're concerned about being able to write articles and reports.)

The first improvement, known as "on-the-fly" branding, simplifies the branding process and thus increases the number of marketers distributing your report. Due to the nature of viral marketing, this number increases exponentially which has a major impact on both traffic and sales.

Rebranding is as simple as entering your affiliate link or ID in a web browser and hitting submit. A rebranded copy is automatically generated which you would then save to your hard drive.

Here are four more incentives for increasing your report's viral potential:

=> Provide Master Resell Rights as well as Giveaway Rights

=> Provide an opt-in/sales page to make it easier for other marketers to sell/give away your report

=> Provide multiple affiliate links, roughly one per page

=> As always, provide useful content which makes your report worth rebranding

The second improvement uses the system in order to build a mailing list. Assuming you're using an on-the-fly brander, all you have to do is direct your readers to an opt-in page first before being directed to the rebranding page. This will result in creating a mailing list which you can profit from in any number of ways.

And since this strategy is viral, your list will grow at the same rate at which other marketers rebrand and distribute your report. When you combine this strategy with on-the-fly branding, it results in an even bigger list because the viral process is accelerated.

The main thing is that you don't need luck to succeed....you just need the right system - and enough confidence that it'll work - in order to beat the odds and achieve success.
