There are lots of different methods you can take, but I am going to show you what I believe to be the three most powerful, and popular ways you can get the web traffic you need, and do it all on a budget.

Step One - Article Marketing

Article marketing has got to be one of the most powerful methods I have used to generate enormous amounts of traffic to my site, and all of that traffic came free-of-charge. Now if you think marketing with articles is difficult, you would be wrong. So how does it work?

Basically you write a 400 to 800 word article that is focused around the main keyword phrase you want to rank for. Make sure that the article you create is well written, and full of content. Don't try and fill it up with your main keyword on every paragraph. Use your main keyword sparingly throughout the entire article, say maybe 3 times max. Anymore than that, and your article will look spammy.

Step Two - Video Marketing

Video has turned out to be one of the hottest mediums to market with. I mean think about it? You watch Television and movies right? Ever wonder why? Because its easy, and its entertaining. Same goes for video marketing.

And you don't have to be a tech wizard either to do it. Just create a short video using a simple web cam, and upload it to such sites as YouTube, and Viddler. You video doesn't have to be Oscar award winning, but just like articles, it should be well presented, and have good content. Doing it this way is sure to help you increase targeted web site traffic.

Step Three - Press Releases

Now most people ignore this one for fear of exposure, but the fact of the matter is, your trying to get exposure! So why not tell the news and media about what your doing? A press release is nothing more than a well written article about what your currently doing, or promoting.

That's it.

You have to provide in your press release some basic information such as your name, address, telephone number, and of course, your website. Then just write a short article of what your currently doing, when you plan to release it, and what it's all about.

Now I have just gone over a really basic overview of how you can use these three powerful techniques to generate more traffic to your site. That does not mean that these methods are not powerful. In fact, I use them almost on a daily basic for myself and my clients, and the results have been nothing short of amazing.

So go ahead and give these three methods a try. I am sure once you do, you will see the full potential of their power un-fold. And once you do, I know you will be hooked. These are just a small list of how you can increase targeted web site traffic.
