Make Online Income by Breaking a Leg - My Secret - Part 1

Do you need to break a leg to make online income? Probably not, but that\'s what it took for me to open my eyes before I started to get serious about making income online.

Do you need to break a leg to make online income? Probably not, but that's what it took for me to open my eyes before I started to get serious about making income online. I had played with internet marketing for a while in what my research has shown me was the 'normal' approach to making online income ie: throw up a poorly designed 'cookie cutter' site with a bit of often seen information on it, a few links to make some money, a little bit of promotion then sit back and wait for the cash to roll in! He he yeah right!

Really though, this seems to be the approach to this by most people, including myself, then when it doesn't work we become experts in how you can't make online income on the net. Silly really when you think about it, it's sort of like going to work for a couple of hours one week and then expecting your employer to pay you, not only for that week, but for the month or months ahead with no further input from you. Not going to happen is it?

If you have ever had a splash in the online income swimming pool then I am sure you have experienced similar feelings and similar earnings. Don't get me wrong here, I did make some money doing this for a little while although I spent more than I made as I am sure you would have to. Was this the fault of the internet? No of course not. The blame for this lies solely at my feet and nowhere else. I guess I read too many of those ads, you know, the one's that go something like this; Make $500.00 per week online income only doing one hour of work.

Have you seen these ads? I'm sure you have, they are everywhere all talking about online income and how simple and easy it is. What they fail to mention is the amount of time and application that needs to be put in to achieve this. Is it possible? A resounding YES it is and there are people doing this and more right now. I am not one of them as yet but I will be and hopefully soon. LOL

It takes time and effort to produce this sort of income online so don't let them or you kid yourself about this, whilst the work involved is different in so many ways from a main stream job or business and a lot of it is enjoyable it can also be mundane and boring too. I was very unhappy in my Job and had starting looking for either another job, or a business that I could start and operate myself in the 'real' world, I have skills and experience that would allow me to do this and I believe I would do fairly well in the market and make a reasonable income.

Then reality hit! (don't you just hate it when that happens) I did not have the financial resources, (I was broke) to start a business and support myself so I was looking at having to continue the grind of working for someone else and just keeping my head above water financially as I could not see any other way.

THEN I BROKE MY LEG, I was installing a vending machine at work when it fell on me, 160kg of steel machine on a trolley and it landed on my left leg, fracturing the bone in my lower leg and trust me it hurt! This is where the adventure of being serious about making an online income all starts..
