Mindset Conditioning - The Secret Weapon of SEO Experts and Marketing Gurus

As someone who is a very active webmaster and SEO enthusiast, I would like to discuss something that is an evident link between all of those who have found success as an SEO Expert or Internet Marketing guru. It is something that a lot of these people hold very close to their hearts, and in a large way, is their key to success more than SEO, and more than their own marketing abilities.

As someone who is a very active webmaster and SEO enthusiast, I would like to discuss something that is an evident link between all of those who have found success as an SEO Expert or internet marketing guru. It is something that a lot of these people hold very close to their hearts, and in a large way, is their key to success more than SEO, and more than their own marketing abilities.

Since the passing of the late Jim Rohn, one thing has occurred to me. Since witnessing the vast majority of the Internet Marketing community branch together to share their condolences, these people, much of the same liking to Jim Rohn and Anthony Robbins have all had a large impact on a lot of those SEO Experts and Internet Marketing Gurus who have found success on the internet. One phrase that I hold very close to my heart, as it does relate to me (and many others) on a very personal note is from the late Jim Rohn, and I will share it with you today.

Jim Rohn speaks to his mentor about how little his company pays, and is quickly made aware that it is not all the company pays, it is all that the company pays him. Jim goes on to state that something is too expensive, he is then told that it's not too expensive, he just can't afford it yet. This quote has stayed with me for a very long time.

Back in about 2005 when I was first introduced to Anthony Robbins via those never ending infomercials, the idea of self-conditioning was completely foreign to me. It took me another four years to actually listen to his recordings. At the time, I was in a dead end job, I was earning a much lower wage than everyone else, but I kept doing what I was doing and hoping for the best. You see, that word, hope, it is a strange word. Life conditioning is all about not just changing your mindset, but living as if you are already there. Living as if you have already succeeded in your goal. There is no hope in that, only certainty, and that in itself is something that comes out very powerfully in all of the recordings of Anthony Robbins. Without certainty, there is nothing but what we continue to do every day, and eventually we find out some twenty years later that we have spent our whole lives doing the same thing over and over again with no real joy.

I am going to refer to another story now that touches on the topic of mindset conditioning. Before John Reese (Internet Marketing pioneer) became the self-made success story that he is today, he used to work in a video store. Doing the same thing every day, serving the same customers every day, only he did it with a twist. He bought to work an entrepreneurs magazine and a newspaper that had car sale listings in it every day. Whilst not busy, he would always talk about how he was going to buy 'that' sports car, and would always read the entrepreneurs magazine for further inspiration. At one point, his boss, our of pure concern, told John that the dreams he has and speaks of, they are unhealthy.

After John Reese quit his job and found his first success, with pride, he happily drove to the video store as a customer in his brand new Porsche 911. When his ex-boss asked him if that is his father's car, John simply answered, "not exactly."

The type of mindset that is programmed for success is a very powerful thing, and is something that is a trademark of every single successful internet marketer in the online world today, proof of this is evident in how the community pulled together during the time of mourning the passing of Jim Rohn.
