There is some controversy brewing between SEO Specialists that there is no bias within the search engines themselves. This I am here to tell you that this is true. Bias runs wild and free within Google and Yahoo.

It wasn't all that long ago that I performed a search on Google for the word "health" and the query came back with Google health in the number one sponsored position. I then searched the word "talk" to the same result. The same result came back for a few other popular search words. The most evident mistake that is made by SEO Specialists is that Google and Yahoo are not only bias but they are also marketing firms. Most may think that Google and Yahoo are at odds as great competitors. Not.
Granted, both Google and Yahoo maintain 90% of the search engine market share. What is not clear is where they hang their hats in the marketing world. SEO Specialists would like to think that they and their clients are not trying to compete with Google and Yahoo. This I am sorry to say is not true. Let's face facts, everyone wants to squeeze out every last cent they can on the world wide web. If we were all as top heavy with money as the two major engines we would, I am sure maintain a bias against our competition also.
SEO Specialists must understand this is the perfect scenario for them. Major AdWords users are spending what we would consider fortunes to maintain a web presence and keep an competitive edge. It has not been until as of late that corporate giants and mid size players have investigated search engine optimization to offset high promotion expenses. Most advertising clients do not know the AdWords game all that well and are not using it to full advantage. Hence, huge budgets and mediocre results.
What has to be made crystal clear to corporate decision makers is that even though there are time considerations and other issues with search engine optimization. Organic rankings should be their ultimate goal. Granted, they may have to maintain AdWords advertising while natural rankings are going through the nine months pregnancy but the result will be most satisfying. The only true obstacle that seomediastar.com">SEO Specialists face is the fact that many companies do not have the budget for both AdWords and SEO at the same time.
I suppose the only answer to this problem is to keep pushing the fact that you are working towards free advertising that is quite possibly the best form of promotion on the planet. Search engine traffic quality is priceless. Don't get me wrong, Sponsored traffic is alright but organic traffic quality is head shoulders about the rest. SEO Specialists must keep taking that message to the end user. Not only will you prove yourself as SEO material but save your clients untold amounts of advertising money.
