1. The headlines

Statistically, you have about five seconds to grab the attention of the website visitor before he either closes the page or press the 'back' button on his browser. Your visitors make a quick overview on you website and the headlines act as 'attention grabbers'. If they find your headlines interesting enough, they will stay on your site and read or see what you have to show. A captivate headline is the difference between a successful page and an average page.

2. Page content

This is the second point your visitor will pay attention on, if you managed to successfully grab them with your headlines. The more effective the contents on your page is, the longer the visitor will stay on it and the longer a visitor stay on your site, more likely they will click on your affiliate links. Remember, this is your main objective!

3. Images

Images are very important to grab people attention. A relevant image can drastically increase the effectiveness of your landing page. Statistic reports say that adding a relevant image on the top of the landing page can increase the probability of a visitor clicking on the product link in 40%.

4. Quantity of Links

This is another important point to consider. Sometimes you lose potential customers because they just can't find a link to the product; they get impatient and end up leaving your site and going directly to the product page or to a concurrent who promote the same product you do.

Having visible links to the product is very important, but it shouldn't be clogged with links too. A good rate is a link on every 300 words, or on every one or two block of text. This also helps your visitors to not getting tired with too much text.
